President and Chief Executive Officer, Cincinnati Bell Inc.

As President and Chief Executive Officer of Cincinnati Bell Inc., Jack Cassidy leads the greater Cincinnati region’s first choice for communications services.  Cincinnati Bell provides wireless, wireline, long distance and broadband services and produces $1.3 billion in revenue.

He is responsible for developing, establishing and executing the company's strategic and operational plans for all Cincinnati Bell companies including Cincinnati Bell Wireless, Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Cincinnati Bell Entertainment, Cincinnati Bell Any Distance, and Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions. 

Previously, Mr. Cassidy served as President and COO of the local Cincinnati Bell operations. As President of Cincinnati Bell Wireless, he led the company’s launch into the wireless business, and later, the prepaid PCS business, branded i-wireless.

Cincinnati Bell and its employees have a long, proud history of giving back to the community. Mr. Cassidy has continued this tradition through his own personal involvement – along with more than 50 other Cincinnati Bell “tutors” – in spearheading a nationally-recognized partnership with Taft Information Technology High School in downtown Cincinnati. This innovative program gives inner-city youth the education and training they need to be productive, responsible citizens. Since the program’s inception in 2001, the rates of parent involvement, student attendance, graduation, and passage of the state proficiency exam have all skyrocketed.  Several months ago, Taft was recognized as one of America’s Best High Schools by winning the Bronze Award from U.S. News and World Report magazine.

Mr. Cassidy actively serves on many boards that play key roles in the development and vitality of the community. Jack currently serves on the boards of the, Cincinnati Business Committee, Cincinnati Museum Center, 3CDC, and the Boomer Esiason Foundation, and he is a member and past chair of the Chamber’s Minority Business Accelerator Program. He sits on the Advisory Board for the Anthony Munoz Foundation, the Boys and Girls Club of Cincinnati, and the Marvin Lewis Community Fund.

In addition, he has been honored by multiple organizations including the Personal Communications Industry Association (PCIA) Distinguished Corporate Citizen, the Boomer Esiason Foundation Man of the Year, and the Cincinnati Friars Club Man of the Year.  He also has been awarded the NAACP Wright Overstreet Award for Education, the Cincinnati School Board ‘Making a Difference” award, and the 2007 Cincinnatus Association John E. Pepper Award.   Jack was recipient of the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission “Connecting Cultures & Communities” award.

Cincinnati Bell and Jack Cassidy were honored as JDRF 2008 Cincinnatians of the Year, as well as receiving the National MS Society 2009 Silver Hope Award at its Dinner of Champions.   In 2009 Jack received “Friend of Education” award from the Southwest District, Ohio School Boards Association. 

In 2010, Jack was honored to be given the Distinguished Service Award from the UC College of Business Alumni Board of Governors, for his contribution to the College, UC as a whole and the Cincinnati Community.

In 2008, Forbes Magazine hailed Mr. Cassidy as “the most honest man in Telecom.”  Mr. Cassidy was named the Clay Pigeon Magazine’s Shooting Sportsman of the Year for 2003.  He was awarded an Honorary PhD from Cleveland State University in 2006.

Halliburton Energy Services Group


Ken Braud is Sr. Vice President and CIO for Halliburton leading all components of the Company’s IT functions. Previously, Mr. Braud was Vice President of Applications Services, with responsibility for the development, maintenance and management of Halliburton’s application software portfolio. In 2005, he served as Vice President of IT Global Services overseeing global delivery of IT products and services, business process optimization, IT customer service and real-time operations. In 2003, Mr. Braud served as Division IT Director for the Drilling and Formation Evaluation organization within Halliburton.

Over his 30 years of experience with Halliburton, he has had numerous global assignments across all areas of IT delivery, operations and management.  He has provided leadership to Halliburton in the areas of governance and portfolio management, business alignment and operational performance management.  Focusing on the delivery of business value through selective, planned and well executed investment, Braud has been integral in the establishment of Halliburton as a technology leader in the energy industry.

Mr. Braud holds a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Texas where he is active in University affairs. He is a graduate of Halliburton’s President’s Leadership Excellence Program, a frequent speaker at industry events and sits on numerous industry and technology boards.
 

CyrusOneDave Ferdman
President and CEO, CyrusOne

David is the co-founder, President and CEO of CyrusOne.  Founded in 2000, CyrusOne is the largest data center co-location provider in Texas.  The Company has 7 data center locations in Houston, Dallas, and Austin. The Company provides mission critical data center services to a variety of companies including 5 of the top10 global companies.  CyrusOne was acquired by Cincinnati Bell (CBB) in June 2010 for $525M. 

Prior to CyrusOne, David had over ten years of telecommunications and technology experience. He was the COO and Co-founder UWI Association Programs (dba Eclipse Telecommunications), a facilities-based telecommunications service provider. Founded in 1992, the company achieved $22 million in annualized revenues before engaging in M&A activities that evolved the company into a publicly traded carrier with $110 million in annualized revenues. As COO of Eclipse, Dave was instrumental in the company's rapid growth culminating in its acquisition by IXC Communications (now part of Level 3) in1998 for $240M. 

Over the past 10 years, David has periodically served as a mentor for the Houston Technology Center (HTC) and the Bauer School of Business at the University of Houston.

David serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for The Escape Family Resource Center.  David is also on the Technology Committee for Child Advocates, a Houston social services organization providing volunteers to support children in crisis.  In addition, he serves on the Security Committee for the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston. 

David is married, has 3 children and enjoys coaching little league baseball, playing golf, and travelling.   Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, he is a graduate of the University of Kansas. 

TheodoreTheodore H. Torbeck
President and General Manager, Cincinnati Bell Communications Group

Ted Torbeck is President and General Manager of Cincinnati Bell Communications.  Ted is responsible for all Cincinnati-based communications businesses, which include Cincinnati Bell Telephone and our other Wireline companies and Cincinnati Bell Wireless.  He reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer, Jack Cassidy.

Prior to joining Cincinnati Bell, Ted was Chief Executive Officer of the Freedom Group, a company that generates approximately $850 million in annual revenues in firearms, ammunition and related products.  Prior to this role, Ted served as the Vice President of Operations for GE Industrial, President and CEO of GE's Rail Services business as well as the Vice President of Global Supply Chain for GE Aircraft Engines.

Ted is a native of Cincinnati and earned his B.S. in Marketing from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and his MBA at Xavier University.

Gary WojtaszekGary J. Wojtaszek
Chief Financial Officer

Gary Wojtaszek is chief financial officer (CFO) for Cincinnati Bell Inc. He reports directly to Jack Cassidy, president and chief executive officer of Cincinnati Bell.
As CFO, Mr. Wojtaszek is responsible for Cincinnati Bell's corporate accounting, finance, treasury, and tax functions, as well as investor relations and corporate communications.


Mr. Wojtaszek most recently served as the senior vice president, treasurer, and chief accounting officer for Laureate Education Incorporated in Baltimore, Md., where he was responsible for global controller and treasurer functions.

Prior to joining Laureate Education, he was the vice president of finance and principal accounting officer for Agere Systems, Inc., a leading manufacturer of integrated circuits used in telecommunications and networking equipment, hard-disk drives, and other devices. While with Agere, Mr. Wojtaszek also held the positions of assistant treasurer, finance director and corporate controller. His past experience also includes treasury and corporate finance assignments with Delphi Automotive Systems and General Motors.

Mr. Wojtaszek holds a bachelor's degree in economics and history from Rutgers University and a master's degree in finance and accounting from Columbia University.
